A giant book hunt is set to take place in Ayr's Newton Park this weekend.
Volunteers who look after the park will hide 50 books for visitors to find on Sunday, July 28 from 12pm until 8pm.
A spokesperson said: "We have hidden 50 books in the park for you to find. Find a book and take it home or read it in the park.
"Once you have read it, feel free to hide it again. Remember to place the book in a waterproof bag - thank you."
Friends of Newton Park will hide books all over the park, on benches, in hedges and in trees.
