A Prestwick man has raised over £450 for Ayrshire Cancer Support after a gruelling 214 mile trek.
Anthony Wilson covered all kinds of terrain during his 12-day challenge walking the Southern Upland Way.
His trek took him through all weathers and along coasts, lochs, hills, forestry and farmland to raise vital funds for the cancer charity.
The charity welcomed Anthony into the ACS fundraising office to hand over the fantastic amount of £458.01 raised.
Carol-Anne Lamont, the charity's fundraising lead, said: “A huge thank you to Anthony for taking on this solo challenge.
"I know there were a couple of tough days for him, however, he made it and finished the challenge after 12 days with a well deserved rest in Dunbar.
"I know Anthony would also like to thank everyone who supported and sponsored him. We are truly thankful to Anthony.
"Support in this way helps Ayrshire Cancer Support continue to provide much needed free services to children, young people and adults affected by cancer throughout Ayrshire.”
