Plans to upgrade facilities at Ayr's busy bus station have been given the green light.
Stagecoach West Scotland had applied to South Ayrshire Council for permission to make alterations to the building on the Sandgate.
This included replacing external doors with windows, installing a replacement allocations box, replacement windows and doors, re-painting the external woodwork, steelwork and render, and new cladding zones for signage.
Existing timber cladding will be repainted blue, and new Stagecoach signage will be installed on key parts of the building.
The plans were approved by South Ayrshire Council officials earlier this month.
