Proposals have been lodged to create a new gated entrance to Trump Turnberry .
The hotel, through agents McGinlay Associates, has lodged documents with South Ayrshire Council for the improved entrance.
The entrance allows access to the luxurious Turnberry lodges, which act as extra accommodation adjacent to the famous hotel.
Currently, the lodges are served by an open road with a single metal barrier installed that can be lifted up.
However, the improved entrance would see swing gates installed alongside a new wall embossed with the resort's name.
The full application can be viewed on South Ayrshire Council's planning portal with reference 24/00531/APP.
