The Friends of the Broadway group in Prestwick is on the lookout for new volunteers.
The group aims to preserve and enhance the Broadway Cinema for the benefit of the town's community.
The Friends of the Broadway were given £328,060 from the Scottish Land Fund to buy the Main Street building at a much reduced price from former owners, restaurant chain Buzzworks.
The Art Deco gem, fondly remembered by generations of Ayrshire film fans, will be brought into community ownership and redeveloped into a cinema, multi-purpose entertainment venue, and inclusive space that will benefit the whole community.
A number of roles are available including finance director, book keeper, social media officer and website developer.
