A Girvan business has been hailed for its 'scooper' ice cream at the Scottish Dairy Championships.
Girvan Gelateria, in Bridge Street, entered four of its handcrafted flavours into its first ever competition at the Royal Highland Show.
Out of 240 ice cream entries, the parlour came out with a bronze award in all four categories for its vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and wild cherry flavours.
The gelateria's ice cream is made with milk from The Coo Shed, based at South Corton Farm near Ayr.
