Three more nights of overnight lane closures are set to take place on the A77 north of Girvan later this month.
The works are a continuation of essential bridge expansion joint replacement, deck refurbishment works and resurfacing on the A77 at Bridgemill, 500 metres north of Girvan.
These works previously took place using daytime lane closures from Monday, May 20 until Friday, June 21.
Now three further nights of overnight lane closures will be required to complete snagging works from Wednesday, July 10 until Friday, July 12 between 8pm and 6am.
Amey, which maintains the south-west trunk roads network on behalf of Transport Scotland, says the scheme will benefit around 8,500 vehicles each day by improving the condition of the carriageway structure and reducing the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.
