A Girvan businesses is set to close its doors next month due to increasing costs.
Duncan Street Laundrette announced over the weekend that it will be permanently closing from the end of August 2024.
The business owner blamed rising costs and significant building upgrades as the reason for the closure.
A spokesperson said: "Due to the significant upgrades that need done to the building inside and out and with constantly increasing overheads it is not viable to keep the business open.
"I am beyond grateful for all your loyal custom and support over the years, and I know what a loss this will be to many of you.
"So, until the end of August it is business as usual, but wanted to give you all plenty of notice."
