A busy Ayr road is to be hit by daytime closures for the next month.
Peggieshill Road, from the A713 Dalmellington Road to the junction of Nursery Road, will be closed from July 1 to July 29.
A no waiting at any time restriction is also in place for the same stretch of road for the duration of the order.
The road is expected to be closed between 8am and 5pm each day with it being open outwith these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ outwith the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so
An alternative route will be signed via Nursery Road turning right onto Belmont Road then turning right onto A713 Dalmellington and return.
