Two Queens were crowned as the annual Troon Gala Day celebrations were held at the weekend.
Thankfully the weather was kind for most of the big day, which saw Ariah Grace Calder crowned by the town's Civic Award winner Pauline Moriarty, and Poppy Mercer crowned by Sophie Henderson, this year's Junior Civic Award winner
This year's gala day had a 70s/80s theme, with some fantastic live performances, as well as all the usual fun events and rides for the kids.
And there were plenty of stalls on offer for everyone to enjoy.
Frances Carson, chair of Troon Community Council, said: "We had a fantastic day and by a miracle the rain stayed away for nearly all the day.
"We had the Mighty Memphis live band who were outstanding. A great live band who had the crowds dancing and having a great time.
"People were commenting on how much they enjoyed them.
"We had our very own local celebrity Kenny James, who always delivers. He is a great guy, funny and very talented, and the crowds loved him.
"Rona Bryden is a future star - what a voice. Ayrshire Ukeleles were like a force of nature and brought the happiness with them
"Ayr Hospital Radio and John O'Donnell and crew brought the tunes.
"We can't wait to do it again."
