POLICE in Ayrshire have asked for the public's help as they try to trace a woman who has been reported missing from Ayr.
Anne McNeillie, 58, was last seen in the town's Bellesleyhill Avenue at around 7.30am on Sunday, June 16.
Anne is around 5ft 7in to 5ft 8in tall, with a slim to medium build. She has dark brown shoulder-length hair.
When last seen, she was wearing a dark-coloured bubble jacket and leggings.
Police say they have been carrying out extensive enquiries and have checked any relevant CCTV footage but that efforts so far have failed to locate Anne.
Sergeant Terry McEwan said: "It is very unlike Anne to go off and not be in touch with her family.
"They are extremely concerned and just want her home safe and well.
"I am asking anyone who may have seen her to contact us. If anyone has any knowledge about Anne or her whereabouts, please get in touch with us."
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1941 of 16 June 2024.
