Two stunning South Ayrshire gardens are open to the public for just a few months in aid of charity.

The Pines in Troon, owned by Cheryll and Alasdair Cameron, and Dalhowan Farm, run by Fiona and Robbie Baird, are taking part in the Scotland's Gardens Scheme (SGS).

The Pines can be visited by arrangement only until July 31, at a cost of £6 per adult and children are free.

Dalhowan Farm in Crosshill can be visited only on June 30, from 1pm to 5pm.

To book The Pines go to scotlandsgardens.org/the-pines-2 and to visit Dalhowan Farm go to scotlandsgardens.org/dalhowan-farm/.

Admission to each of the gardens costs £6, with 60 per cent of the proceeds going to the Ayrshire Hospice and the rest to SGS charities.
