South Ayrshire Council revealed last week that renovation work was set to begin on the property at 17-21 High Street, which was badly damaged by fire in May 2020.
The bus stop nearby has been taken out of use to enable the work take place.
The services that normally use the stop outside the Town Hall will instead use a temporary stop at the Fish Cross on High Street, opposite Marks and Spencer.
