More than £53,000 has been raised by volunteer staff at Culzean Castle and Country Park's second hand bookshop.
The bookshop is run entirely by volunteers from the Friends of Culzean, who made a staggering £53,291 in 2023 to support the work of the estate.
This equates to around 27,000 sales of books, and they received donations of around 35,000 books.
A Culzean spokesperson said: "We are so grateful to the Friends of Culzean for their help and support every year.
"Be sure to pay a visit where you will be warmly greeted by the volunteers who run the shop."
