More than £2,700 has been raised from a special Taylor Swift themed night for an Ayr man's cancer fight.

LJM Dance hosted the Totally Taylor night in aid of Michael Lynaghan, a veteran who was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2021 at the age of 41.

He was told he had just weeks to live, but was put on a daily chemotherapy tablet called Abisaterone, which helped to manage the condition.

However, with its effectiveness set to end within the next year, Michael's family has now launched a campaign aiming to raise £130,000 for pioneering treatment which could give him a further five years to live.

The fundraiser, held at Prestwick Academy, saw participants sing, dance and shake it off with the phenomenal 'Totally Taylor' tribute act for someone who is very much a member of the close-knit LJM Dance family.
