People will have a unique chance to run along the runway of Prestwick Airport later this year.
The airport is hosting a 'Run the Runway' event on Saturday, November 2, in support of several local charities.
The event will support Beatson Cancer Charity, Doing it for Daniel, and the Ayrshire Hospice.
Participants will have the opportunity to run a 5K or a 10K distance, with more details to be announced soon.
The airport's main runway is 2,986 metres long, and can handle all types of aircraft, from commercial to military.
