Councillors were invited to see the progression of works at the St Ninian’s housing development in Prestwick.
Plans to build affordable homes on the former primary school plot were agreed back in 2019, and work is now progressing.
South Ayrshire Council has confirmed that foundations for a number of housing blocks are complete, as are groundworks to prepare for utilities, with the installation of gas, water and electrical mains all underway.
Over the coming weeks, concrete will be poured to form additional floor slabs and drainage works will continue.
