A man was arrested following an early morning car crash in Prestwick.
Police raced to the scene on the town's Main Street at around 6am on Wednesday morning, with the driver later arrested and charged with road traffic offences.
Photos on social media showed the car as having mounted the pavement and landing on top of a bin.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6am on Wednesday, May 22, we were called to a single vehicle crash on Main Street, Prestwick.
"Officers attended. The driver, a 58-year-old man, was arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
