Crew from Girvan RNLI linked up with their fellow stations for a special training night.
The volunteer crew met up with station colleagues from Stranraer RNLI and Portpatrick lifeboat to participate in a joint exercise.
This included towing, coming alongside, crew transfers, navigation and helping.
A spokesperson said: "Training with other RNLI colleagues is invaluable for our volunteers as all too often we can find ourselves working with other crews on callouts from various stations.
"It provides all our volunteers from each station a chance to train with each other and familiarise themselves with different boats and the way they operate."
