Three people have been taken to hospital and one person has been charged following a crash in Ayr at the weekend.
Police responded to calls of an incident at the Bankfield roundabout at around 3.30pm on Sunday, May 19.
The road was closed for around three hours while emergency services dealt with the crash.
Three people were taken to hospital and a 72-year-old man was charged following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “We were called around 3.30pm on Sunday, 19 May, to a report of a two vehicle crash on the A713 at the Bankfield roundabout, Ayr.
“Emergency services attended and three people were taken to hospital to be checked over.
“The road was closed and re-opened around 6.30pm.
“One driver, a 72-year-old man, has been charged in connection with a road traffic offence and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
