A popular Ayrshire eatery has provided an update on its latest site in the region.
Tempura announced earlier this year that it would be opening a new takeaway location in Irvine.
The company has already opened up its latest site in Troon this year, alongside its existing premises in Ayr, Prestwick and Kilmarnock.
The business has now confirmed that after a small hiccup, plans are underway to find a new property in the town.
Its owners said: "Our initial property we were taking on in Irvine had to be turned down at the last minute due to us not being able to get a gas supply to it.
"We have however now submitted an offer for a different property and hope to have it confirmed imminently."
The eatery also took over the former Electric Bakery site in Prestwick, and has transformed it into a new production kitchen.
