Thousands are set to descend on Girvan this weekend for the town's annual Traditional Folk Festival.
The festival runs from May 3 to 5, and will see concerts, workshops, competitions, fairs and family events across a range of venues.
Music comes from the likes of Belfast trad trail-blazers Craobh Rua, masters of Scots song Christine Kydd and Fiona Ross, a flute and fiddle furore from Claire Mann and Tom Oakes.
There will also be performances from Bothy Ballad whizz Scott Gardiner, Dumfries's own Rose Byers, step dance sensation Aneta Dortová with Janet Lees (Corran Raa), Ayrshire poets Rab Wilson and Buff Wilson and Magnus Turpie band.
There will also be an amazing late-night fire show from David T Powell Arts, local heroes The Dodgy Jumpers, The Macrae Family and Moniaive ceilidh institution The Roving Pedlars.
The first Girvan Traditional Folk Festival took place in 1975, and hundreds of performers have been welcomed to the town in the years since.
