THE opening of the newest chain of a popular Ayrshire restaurant and takeaway has been delayed.
Bosses from Tempura were set to complete their latest expansion into Troon at 11.30am on Friday, April 12.
It follows from a successful launch party that was held in the new restaurant, bar and takeaway on Thursday, April 11.
The business were all set to go at the former Tinto Tapas restaurant this morning however, unforeseen issues have meant opening time has been pushed back and locals will have to wait a little longer for their Tempura fix.
Tempura already operate a restaurant/takeaway in Ayr and stand alone takeaways in Prestwick and Kilmarnock and thankfully for those looking forward to the addition of their fourth venture it is still set to join their portfolio on Friday.
At present, the issues have only de-railed the Troon opening by a few hours with this now set to take place at 5pm.
Despite the disappointment Tempura still looked to keep spirits high as the joked about who was responsible for the delay on social media.
They said: "We were hoping to open Troon at 11.30am today but due to some unforeseen issues we are going to need to hold off until 5pm.
"Not sure if it's just coincidence but Mark did his first shift in Troon last night and now all our drains are blocked..."
