JAZZ music fans in Ayr are preparing to welcome a talented Lancashire band to their next concert in the town.
The Ayr Jazz Club will play host to the Paul Palmer Quarter at the Fairfield Hotel in Fairfield Road on Friday, April 19.
Paul is no stranger to the club having played with Martin Bennett’s Old Green River Band in April 2023 and is a fine saxophonist.
The remainder of his band, Jon Moreman on trombone, Jon Moore on guitar and Steve Simpson on string bass, will be enjoying their first visit to Ayr for the performance.
Tickets for the club's party night on Friday, May 10, featuring the Vieux Carre Jazzmen from north-east England, will also be on sale at £15, including a finger buffet.
If you are unable to attend on April 19 and would like tickets, please phone the number shown below – you might be lucky!
A spokesperson for the club added: "New faces at the club are always welcome, so if you haven’t been to our club before or recently, do come along and assist the hard-working committee to keep the club alive. You are guaranteed a warm welcome."
Concerts start at 7.30pm and close at 10.30pm.
