The team who provide 'talking newspapers' for visually impaired people living across Ayrshire have launched a fundraiser to fix their building.
Every week, Ayrshire Recording Services send out tapes of the latest news updates from the county, with the co-operation of our titles across the Ayrshire Weekly Press group.
But their building, in Kilmarnock, is badly in need of repair.
Rikki Farquharson from Ayrshire Recording Services said: "Our current premises, a century-old wooden building with an asbestos roof, poses serious health risks to our dedicated volunteers who produce weekly talking newspapers.
"With your support, we can replace the hazardous roof and upgrade to a modern, energy-efficient studio, ensuring the safety of our volunteers and the continuity of our free services for our listeners.
"Although we've gathered some funds, we're still short of our £12,000 target.
"Your donation will make a significant difference in empowering our community.
"Together, let's create a brighter future for all."
