A popular Ayr bakery has announced it is expanding into Prestwick.
They Bake, based in the town's Newmarket Street, has taken over the former Electric Bakery Unit on Kyle Street in Prestwick.
Its owners say they have already outgrown their current premises in Ayr, and are set to expand into Prestwick in the coming months.
A spokesperson said: " We quickly realised after taking on our shop on Newmarket Street that we’d already out grown it.
"Our long standing goal has always been to increase our product range and continue providing the best quality/tasting cakes you’ll find.
"Due to the volume we already make in Ayr there is only one thing for it…more of the best cakes with a much larger variety coming soon!"
