Proposals have been lodged to turn a Prestwick church into a restaurant.
Plans submitted to South Ayrshire Council will involve altering the existing Bute Hall at 57 Main Street.
The property currently comprises a front lobby hallway, toilets, the main church hall, a kitchen, stalls and an office.
The proposal is for a change of use from a hall to a public house with food and drink.
Minor alterations to the front entrance are proposed by the applicant.
Planning documents state: "It is considered that the proposed development will generate considerable footfall and due to its central location and access to sustainable forms of transport will contribute to the viability and vitality of the core shopping centre of Prestwick."
Plans show that the restaurant would have space for around 100 people.
