The opening date of a revamped Ayr restaurant has been revealed.
The former restaurant at The Kylestrome Hotel, in Miller Road, has undergone a huge transformation and will be rebranded as The Stravaig.
It will be run and operated by David Storrie, who also owns the popular The Bistro and The Smoking Goat in Ayr town centre.
Despite "major stumbling blocks" that delayed the project's completion, the restaurant will open its doors for the first time on Tuesday, February 20.
David said: "We will be serving lunch from 12pm and dinner in the first week, then breakfast, lunch and dinner from the following week onwards from 9am.
"We cannot wait for you all to see how beautiful this place is. Thank you for your patience.
"It has not come without trying times but we welcome all of you with open arms.
"From breakfasts, light lunches, cosy dinners to evening drinks and late night vibes for cocktails and meet up with friends.
"We look forward to making and sharing many memories with you all."
