South Ayrshire Provost Iain Campbell and Depute Provost Mary Kilpatrick visited River Garden in Auchincruive to see the new accommodation and facilities on site.
River Garden is home to the registered charity Independence from Drugs & Alcohol Scotland.
Residents at River Garden are supported to overcome their addiction to drugs and alcohol through a work-based rehabilitation and recovery programme where they can develop new skills, build self-esteem and work collaboratively with others.
Provost Campbell and Depute Provost Kilpatrick were given a tour of the site including the new women's accommodation and gardening facilities.
Provost Campbell and Depute Provost Kilpatrick are pictured with Jardine Simpson, the charity's general manager, and Dr Marina Barnard, chair of its board of trustees.
