A new coffee shop is set to open close to Ayr's High Street.
Lorne Arcade is planning to bring its very own takeaway coffee shop from the shopping complex in the town.
Ayrshire property investors Wood Property Group became the new owners of the retail centre last year.
The sale, finalised in August, was set to see the company make a significant inward investment to both the entire interior and exteriors of the arcade.

One step in those plans is soon to be a new coffee shop.
No official date has been set for the opening of the new business yet.
There is also opportunity for businesses to take over one of the units with the Lorne Arcade.
The company said: "Unit 6 is an end terrace retail unit located at the western entrance to Lorne Arcade.
"The unit is rectangular in shape with a raised platform accessing the rear door and toilet.
"[It's] well presented internally. It would suit a variety of retail uses and is available for immediate occupation.
"Lorne Arcade is a unique town centre shopping destination forming an important pathway link between Ayr high Street and the town centre bus depot and car parks.
"It, therefore, benefits from a high footfall seven days a week."
