PLAYWRIGHT Catherine Czerkawska will be the latest guest speaker in the series of 'Highlight Talks' at the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway this month.
Catherine, who lives in rural South Ayrshire, will talk about 'Writing About Family History: Pleasures, Problems and Pitfalls', with reference to her books The Last Lancer: A Story of Loss and Survival in Poland and Ukraine, and A Proper Person To Be Detained: a murder in Leeds with a detour to Glasgow and a connection to the author’s family.
Catherine's talk at the museum in Murdoch's Lone takes place on Wednesday, February 21 from 2pm until 3.30pm.
All the talks in the series are organised by the Friends of the Robert Burns and take place in the museum's Robertson Room.
Admission is free but booking in advance via eventbrite.co.uk is strongly advised.
