Train services across Ayrshire are returning to normal following a signalling fault on Wednesday morning.
A fault at Barassie meant that services from Glasgow to Prestwick were terminating and starting from Irvine, with no trains beyond that point.

ScotRail also said its Ayr to Prestwick Town shuttles services had also been suspended.
However, services started returning to normal around 12:30pm.
