Trump Turnberry has turned a profit for the first time since the former President took over the golf resort almost 10 years ago.
The facility, which includes three courses and its iconic hotel, was bought by Donald Trump back in 2014 for a reported $60million.
The resort has never made a profit, but the Financial Times has now reported that Turnberry made a pre-tax profit of £571,000 in 2022, compared to a loss of £3.7m in 2021.
Accounts filed with Companies House show that revenue rose to nearly £22m in 2022, significantly up from the £13.1m in revenue the previous year.
Trump Turnberry did not pay any tax on its 2022 profit due to deductible losses from previous years.
Despite his Turnberry business turning its first profit, the former US president's Aberdeenshire resort is still in the red.
Trump International Scotland has shown a pre-tax loss of just over £700,000 in 2022, an increase from the loss of £697,000 back in 2021.
