A Prestwick-born author is set to appear on a BBC Scotland book show.
Bringing in the festive season is a BBC Christmas special of The Big Scottish Book Club, which should be inspirational for those of looking for some literature gifts.
And among the guests is Prestwick-born author Jenny Colgan, who will be providing her perspective on the Christmas period.
Specially titled The Big Scottish Christmas Book Club, the show features ‘a gorgeous selection box of stories’ including some very notable ‘crackers’.

The Christmas special is going out on the BBC Scotland channel and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday, December 13 at 8pm, but it will also be shown on BBC One Scotland on Sunday, December 17 at 5.35pm.
Jenny will discuss her brand new festive novel, 'Midnight at The Christmas Bookshop', and star of Outlander series Graham McTavish will reveal his favourite fiction while author of 'The Beetle Boy' series, while MG Leonard will share her latest novel - a contemporary fairy-tale for Christmas, 'The Ice Children'.
And fittingly for the festive season Jenny, Graham, and MG also discuss their favourite children’s and young adult books, with inspired choices for Christmas stockings, as well their all-time Christmas movies.
