Ayr Music Club has announced details of their next concert.
The local music group has been putting on a string of concerts throughout the year, drawing both residents and visitors to the events.
And its next event will feature the renowned Antonine Trio.
A statement said: "Ayr Music Club is delighted to welcome the Antonine Trio to Ayr for their next concert which promises to be both entertaining and informative.
"The Trio draws on their Scottish operatic experience and presents a unique combination with baritone Steven Faughey, Susan Baxendale on French horn, and pianist Derek Clark.
"This Trio embraces music from across a wide variety of periods and styles – prepare for a journey that will take you from the mediaeval hunt to contemporary commissions in a programme full of musical detail and fascinating anecdotes.

The event will take place on December 2 in Alloway Church Hall at 7.30pm.
Non-members are welcome to attend the concert and tickets can be purchased at the door for £18 per person, with students and children admitted free of charge.
There will be an interval with coffee and tea available to concert goers – but with a seasonal twist.
