South Ayrshire Council has submitted an update regarding the new Maybole education centre.
Pupils begun their studies at the new £60 million Maybole Community Campus this summer.
The campus, which incorporates a new Carrick Academy, Culzean Primary and Early Years Centre, and St Cuthbert’s Primary, will be officially opened next summer.
But with the main campus complete, local children and young people were welcomed through the doors for the first time at the start of the new school term.

The facility also features two full-sized sports pitches, hard games courts, a rooftop playground, and an amphitheatre.
And South Ayrshire Council has confirmed that he second all-weather sports pitch at has been completed ahead of schedule.
The floodlit pitch, which is already being used by the school, can now also be booked by the public for competitive football and rugby training.
