Stagecoach is reminding customers in Ayr about travel delays due to the Ayr Station Hotel fire.
While most bus services in Ayr are operating normally, Stagecoach West Scotland has updated information available for customers affected by the road closure at Ayr Train Station.
The A70 road closure at the train station is affecting the following bus services: - Service 1: Hayhill – Ayr – Masonhill - Service 301: Ayr – Holmston - Service 302: Ayr - Prestwick - Service 3: Kincaidston – Ayr – Whitletts - Service 7: Ayr – Castlehill - Service 52: Ayr – Bellsbank - Service 361: Ayr – Straiton - Service 347: Ayr – Rankinston - Service 42/X42/42A: Ayr – Muirkirk - Service 43: Ayr – New Cumnock
Fiona Doherty, managing director of Stagecoach West Scotland, highlighted the importance of planning ahead, stating: “Although the diversions have been in place for a few weeks now, we want to remind our customers that these diversions may add some extra time to their journeys.

"We recommend that anyone travelling to and from Ayr town centre plan ahead and familiarise themselves with the diverted routes.”
Information will be displayed at bus stops, and Stagecoach has published further details on its website.
Stagecoach apologies for any inconvenience caused to customers during the road closure.
