SINCE retiring, legendary Ayrshire football striker Ian Cashmore has been imparting his knowledge onto the next generation.
After hanging up his boots at the end of last season 'Cashy' decided to form his own coaching academy - Ian Cashmore's Striker School.
Across his 22-year career, the popular striker had spells at Irvine Victoria, Troon, Ayr United, Stranraer, Stirling Albion, Glenafton, Auchinleck, Cumnock, Girvan, Dalry, Ardrossan Winton Rovers, and most famously Kilwinning Rangers - so it is safe to say he has plenty experience to pass on.
The journeyman has been loving life as a coach, with his striker school going from strength to strength since forming in his home town of Kilwinning.
Now, he is inviting youngsters down to the Ian Cashmore Memorial Park at Kilwinning Sports Club for a bit of festive fun.
On Sunday December 17, Cashy's Festive Football Fun Day will be taking place in North Ayrshire from 10am-1pm.
The day promises football fun, competitions and drills for kids aged from eight to 13.
There is still time to sign up if you want to head along, though spaces are going fast.
