Ayr Town Hall is set to celebrate a special anniversary.

Saturday, November 4 will see a combination of two anniversaries featured in Ayr Town Hall - the 50th of Rotary in Alloway and the 30th of Two’s Company, which was originally founded in 1993 by the Rotary Club.

Wallace Galbraith, of the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra, said: "On the first occasion Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra and the Dalmellington Band were joined by the wonderful voice of Anne Lorne Gillies.

"The concert ran for three years but, such was the enthusiasm of the event felt by both the fiddle orchestra and band that they decided to continue under the new name of Two’s Company.

"This year’s concert will feature choirs from both Heathfield and Glenburn Primary Schools and the winner of RotaryGBI Young Musician 2022 Charlie Boax, baritone horn, from Kilmarnock.

"A truly fantastic night’s music making."

Tickets for the concert can be purchased from tickets@fiddleorchestra.com.
