An Ayrshire entrepreneur has been shortlisted for a top UK award after triumphing in a regional competition.
Billy Bowie, managing director of a number of local businesses including The Park Hotel, has been selected as the Scotland regional winner of Ernst and Young (EY) Entrepreneur of the Year.
The businessman, who is also the chairman of Kilmarnock FC, progresses as a finalist for UK Entrepreneur of the Year 2023.
The programme has been running for over 30 years, honouring founders, CEOs and leaders who demonstrate excellence in areas such as innovation, financial performance, social responsibility, while displaying a personal commitment to their businesses and communities.
