A popular and historic Ballantrae has been nominted for a prestigous award.
Glenapp Castle, a 21-bedroom luxurious PoB Hotel and Relais and Chateaux Hotel in Ballantrae near Girvan has been shortlisted for the Boutique Hotel of the Year category at the third annual Boutique Hotelier Awards.
The Boutique Hotel of the Year award aims to showcase the best hotels in the country, recognise the most innovative new products and mark the achievements of excellent staff and employees in the hospitality sector, after a year of recovery and new challenges.

The voting process is currently open and will close at midnight on October 9, 2023.
The winners will be announced on the evening of October 16.
