South Ayrshire Council has warned there could be traffic delays of up to 90 minutes at next week's air show.
Thousands of residents and visitors to the area are expected to attend the International Ayr Show - Festival of Flight.
The festival will lift off next Friday, September, 8 before an all-day schedule into the weekend.
The town's most used roads are expected to be very busy, with more than 100 facing either closure and/or restrictions.
And South Ayrshire Council organisers have warned it could take 60-90 minutes for traffic congestion to ease.
