Rail passengers in Ayrshire faced disruption this morning, due to a signalling fault.
Trains from Largs, Ardrossan Harbour and Ayr to Glasgow Central, and back, have been affected on Thursday, August 17.
It is understood the issue has been resolved, but disruption is still expected over the course of the morning as services gradually return to normal.
UPDATE: Engineers on site report all signalling has been restored and normal working resumed on all lines.
