A local pub has raised over five thousand pounds for Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund (GTOF)
Girvan's very own Girvan's Bar raised almost £5,500 for the Outing Fund.
The charity, which has been running since 1945, sees cabbies don fancy dress each year before making their way to Troon.
The event sees the streets of Glasgow and Troon lined with children and families eager to see the decorated cabs and cabbies.
Each year the GTOF host multiple fundraising events to raise cash for the big day out and for charities.

"If you would like two know more look online at gtof.org.uk or pop into Girvans bar in Portland Street, to support this very worthwhile charity.
"This year GTOF gave almost 300 young people with special needs, a trip to remember.
"Well done Connie and thank you again for all your support."
