A much-loved Troon restaurant has unveiled its brand new menu.
Lido announced its new food menu just in time for summer – including a brand-new, authentically Italian pizza recipe.
The casual dining venue - owned by leading hospitality group Buzzworks Holdings – is now serving traditional Neapolitan pizzas, as well as a host of new dishes inspired by the Mediterranean coast.
Grant Clark, general manager at Lido Troon, said: “Pizza is our passion and we’re delighted to be bringing the authentic taste of Italy to Troon.

“Our brand-new Neapolitan pizza bases are made with 100 per cent natural Caputo ‘00’ pizzeria flour - the go-to ingredient for chefs in Naples - to a traditional Italian recipe, and are cooked in a state of the art, piping hot wood-fired pizza oven.
“When it comes to toppings, we will only use the finest San Marzano tomatoes and Fior di Latte cheese before adding our own delicious flavour combinations, making our pizzas seriously hard to top.
"We can’t wait to welcome our guests along to try them.”
Lido Troon is open seven days a week throughout the summer.
Bookings can be made at www.lido-troon.co.uk or by calling the venue on 01292 310088.
