AN Ayr diner has been named the home of "Scotland's Best Burger".
Nanny Mary's picked up the prestigious award at last week's Scottish Entertainment and Hospitality Awards.
The diner, which attracts visitors for its delicious burgers, fries, milkshakes plus desserts, were also finalists in the "Best Family Venue" category.
Staff at the burger joint praised the "outstanding" support from the Ayr community as they won the Best Burger Award.
A Facebook post said: “As we were enjoying our staff night out, we heard it...
"'And the Winner for Best Burger in Scotland is, Nanny Marys’.
“There were tears, joy, shock and whole turmoil of emotions.
“We wouldn’t have gotten to the finals if it wasn’t for our outstanding supporting community so thank you so much for following our journey and believing in us.
“We did it! We brought the trophy home to our little town of Ayr!”
