A teenager has been arrested and charged after a fire was reported at a golf course in Troon
A blaze broke out near Troon Darley Golf Course on Wednesday.
Police and fire crews were called to the scene to deal with the incident.

Officers say a 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with the fire.
Following the incident, police sent out a specialist team on quad bike patrol to guard the area after the fire.
A Police Scotland spokespersons said: “Around 7.35pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, police on patrol were made aware of a fire at a golf course in Troon, which took place earlier that afternoon.
"A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged in connection with the matter, and will be reported to the relevant authorities.”
