A FUNDRAISER has been set up to reunite twins now based in Australia and Ayrshire after a cancer diagnosis.
Arlene Blane, who currently lives in Adelaide, Australia, set up the gofundme page in order to raise funds so that she and her family can get back to Ayrshire in order to be by her cancer-stricken sister's side.
Victoria Wallace, from Girvan, was given the news on February 3 that she has cervical cancer.
The twins haven't seen each other for three years and now Arlene and family are desperate to reunite the pair as Victoria goes through treatment.
Arlene's statement on her go fundme page said: "Hi everyone I’m Arlene and the reason I’m on here is I’m desperate to fly back to Scotland to support my twin sister, who unfortunately has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
"With the cost of everything going up we simply can’t afford tickets for three of us this is why I’m asking for help to get there. To Scotland.

"My whole heart is broken and wants to be there to support my twin sister. It’s important to me that I be there.
"I’m sad that I’m having to ask people for help. But unfortunately we’re just not in the financial position to afford the flights.
"Three years ago it would be a different story but at the moment as we’re all going through high living costs we’re finding it a struggle. Thank you to anyone who wishes to help any donation would help greatly.
"My twin sister is my whole heart all I want it to be there for her and her beautiful family."
