A LONG-STANDING Prestwick town centre pub has been put on the rental market.
Owners Greene King are looking to lease the popular local pub in the town's Main Street to an aspiring new operator.
A description on Greene King's website reads: "The Central Bar is located on Prestwick High Street and is a popular stop on the local drinking circuit.
"The bar caters for all and has a unique two-room layout.
"As you enter the bar, you find the main room with the bar to your left and seating to the rear. There are TV screens on the wall and comfortable surroundings.

"This bar is ideal for those looking to watch sport and have a quiet drink.
"To the rear, there is a separate room with its own bar, which would be ideal for entertainment including karaoke, discos or functions.
"The bar is 100 per cent wet led and utilising both rooms and offering a great range of products at a competitive price will be key to future success."
The bar is being advertised for an annual rent of £25,500, with £8,850 entry costs and a forecasted operator profit of £23,856 from a predicted annual turnover of £293,685.
