A MUM has admitted attacking her 12-year-old daughter after being reported to social services by the girl’.
The Ayr woman her 30s – who has not been named to protect the identities of the girl and her other children – assaulted her daughter back in March 31, 2021
She also admitted kicking out at cops on September 21 last year and then being racially abusive to the taxi driver in Orangefield Drive while brandishing a bottle.
The Procurator Fiscal depute told Ayr Sheruiff Court: “In respect of charge one sometime in March the witness was at home in her bedroom. She was told to get ready for her brother’s football training.
“She advised that she didn’t want to. She then went into her bedroom and pulled her while on her bed. She then got ready.
“She [the complainer] later contacted social workers. The accused was later arrested and interviewed under caution and accepted ‘aye I did’.”
“In respect of charge four on September 21 last year police were acted to attend the street in Ayr.
“Police had reason to arrest the accused and during the procedure the accused thrashed out kicking with her legs.
“The accused was taken to Kilmarnock Police Station and released on an undertaking.
“In relation to charge six, the accused asked the witness to take her to Orangefield Drive.
While driving the accused became irate.”
The court heard she called them an ‘Irish b******’ then banged a bottle of wine.
Defending, Tony Currie said the girl was the eldest of four children and she had supervised daily contact after the incident.
Sentence was deferred for reports.
